Dutch Master Fedde le Grand Reworks Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You”

Never one to do things by halves, Dutch artist Fedde le Grand has turned considerable attention to one of the most iconic tracks produced in the past decade – Fatboy Slim’s Praise You.

Over the past year Fedde has been dropping his massive remix in clubs and at festivals the world over, to rapturous response. Now, what started off as a purely personal edit has been given Fatboy’s full seal of approval – which means you can finally get your hands on it!

A monster of a track in its own right, Fedde’s reworking of Praise You is just we’ve all come to expect from him – thundering beats that build and bounce towards what is surely one of the most classic vocal drops of recent years. Synths warp, hi-hats drive and basslines kick as le Grand works his magic towards a lush, warm breakdown that will have your hands raised way up high towards that legendary roof.

Speaking exclusively about the remix from his studio in Brighton, the legendary Cook said, “After ten years of “Praise You” we had been a long long way together through the… I think you know the rest, now thanks to Fedde we can start that journey all over again”

About the Author

Little Rat Bastard.com had it’s official launch on “Leap Day” February 29th, 2008, and since then has been providing it’s readers with (mostly) well written reviews, as well as original news articles, RSS feeds, links to your favorite artists pages & social networks, plus links to purchase both new & old music alike. On average LittleRatBastard.com gets visited about 60,000 times a month and our reader base is still growing as is our list of offerings. We are currently looking to expand into artist interviews, and reviews of live shows. We have founded ourselves on the idea that most people would like to read a review written by and from the perspective of someone like themselves, as opposed to a professional critic. Our reviewers include people of widely ranging; ages, backgrounds, and musical preferences, and of course The Rat.
